Outcomes

The project will generate research and public-facing outputs that support a better understanding of intersectional leadership in Australia and the European Union.

Key outcomes will include:

• comparative analysis of leadership experiences across Australia and the EU

• case studies showing how migration, ethnicity, race and gender shape leadership pathways and public roles

• evidence-based insights into barriers and opportunities for leaders

• academic publications on leadership, representation and institutional life

• public-facing materials that communicate the project’s findings to wider audiences

• opportunities for dialogue between researchers, policy-makers, civil society actors, educators, and community organisations

• stronger visibility of diverse leadership experiences and their contribution to democratic life

In the longer term, the project aims to inform discussion about inclusive leadership, democratic participation and social cohesion. Its findings may be useful for public institutions, policy-makers, civil society organisations and educators working to support more inclusive democratic societies.
