Europa Policy Lab: Populism in Europe: from the Left and the Right?, 27 August 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Associate Professor Francesca Vassallo from the University of Southern Maine, USA and Professor Daniele Caramani from the University of Zurich.

Europa Policy Lab: Social Policies and Population Change, 22 August 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Dr Diana López-Falcón from the Research Data Center from the Munich Centre for the Economics of Aging, a division of the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Policy.

Europa Policy Lab - French–Australian Forum on Policy Analytics, 15 May 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by a panel of speakers as part of the French-Australian Forum on Policy Analytics.

Europa Policy Lab - Contributing to the Transition from Linear to Circular Urban Water Management, 15 May 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Irina Ribarova from the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Goedesy, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Europa Policy Lab - Making Elections Work for Citizens: Optimising Electoral Ergonomics and Engaging First Time Voters, 13 May 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Michael Bruter and Dr Sarah Harrison from the Electoral Psychology Observatory at the London School of Economics, United Kingdom.

Europa Policy Lab - International Challenges in Engaging Local Government and Community in Mental Health Planning, 2 May 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Karine Chevreul, Paris Hospital Consortium and National Institute for Medical Research at the University of Paris, France.

Europa Policy Lab - Which Degree of Integration Between Science and Public Policy? Food Safety in France, 3 April 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Myriam Merad, Research Director, National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), France. Europa Policy Lab - New Trends and Issues in European Food and Agricultural Policy, 1 April 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Carsten Daugbjerg, University of Copenhagen. Professor Daugbjerg was then joined for a panel discussion by Professor Geoff Cockfield, University of Southern Queensland, and Adjunct Associate Professor Hazel Moir, ANU Centre for European Studies.

Europa Policy Lab - Bridging the Gap Between Policy and Research: Migration and Retirement, 12 March 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Dr Diana López-Falcón, Head, Research Data Center of the Munich Center for the Economics of Aging (MEA) at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy, Munich. Professor López-Falcón will return to ANU in August 2019 to deliver a follow-up Europa Policy Lab on this topic.

Europa Policy Lab - The Urban Water Value Chain and Circular Economy Policies, 31 January 2019: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Irina Ribarova from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Goedesy, Sofia, Bulgaria. Europa Policy Lab - Fuel and Food: Global Commodities Price Transmission Perspective, 11 December 2018: This Europa Policy Lab presented by Professor Karel Janda explored the EU and USA's new price transmission channel connecting fuel and food commodity markets.

Europa Policy Lab - Populism in Democratic Countries: Foundations and Measures, 11 December 2018: This Europa Policy was presented by Associate Professor Francesca Vassallo from the University of Southern Maine in the USA. It asked 'how can we understand how populism has spread across countries in such a domino effect?'  Listen to the audio recording on ANU Soundcloud Associate Professor Vassallo was interviewed on ABC News the day before this Policy Lab on 10 December, commenting on the economic effects of the riots in Paris. She will return to ANU in August 2019 to deliver a follow-up Europa Policy Lab.

Europa Policy Lab - Big data for evidence-informed global health policy, 16 November 2018: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Karine Chevreul, Paris Hospital Consortium and National Institute for Medical Research at the University of Paris, France.

Europa Policy Lab - How is Science Mobilised to Design, Assess and Legitimate Environment and Risk-related Policies? 11 October 2018: This Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Myriam Merad from the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), France. This seminar sought to establish a cross-cultural diagnosis on the way science and policy interact in Australia, France and more largely in Europe. There was a specific focus on risk-related policies related to the environment, planning and industry installations. Listen to the audio recording on ANU Soundcloud Professor Merad returned to ANU in April 2019 to deliver a follow-up Europa Policy Lab on this topic (see above).

Europa Policy Lab - Making Elections Work for Citizens: Optimising Electoral Ergonomics and the Electoral Experience of Vulnerable Voters, 12 September 2018: This double Europa Policy Lab was presented by Professor Michael Bruter and Dr Sarah Harrison from the Electoral Psychology Observatory, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Professor Bruter and Dr Harrison will return to ANU in May 2019 to deliver a follow-up Europa Policy Lab on this topic. Find out more

Europa Policy Lab - Electricity in Central Europe: Policies and Quantitative Estimation, 2 August 2018: The first of our series of Jean Monnet Europa Policy Labs was presented by Professor Karel Janda from the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University, and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the University of Economics, Prague. Presented jointly with the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Professor Janda's Policy Lab explored renewable electricity in Central Europe. Professor Janda presented a follow-up Policy Lab in December 2018 (see above).
