Miss Julia Kobic

Julia was a third-year student on exchange to ANU from Sciences Po Paris, where she studied International Relations, Economics and Sociology. She is also passionate about science and technology, which has led her to pursue Mathematics, Physics and Biology courses during her time at ANU. She was an intern at ANUCES since July 2023 as part of the ANIP program, under the supervision of Dr. Kasia Williams. Her research at the Centre focuses mainly on European green energy policies since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but she have also been able to explore topics such as wartime diplomacy, threats to European democracy, and EU-Australia cooperation thanks to the Centre’s events and morning teas. Her time at ANUCES has confirmed her ambition to follow a career path focused on energy, science and technology within the European Union and beyond.
