New publication: 'The European Union: New Leadership and New Agendas'
Thursday 3 June 2021

Newly released publication The European Union: New Leadership and New Agendas is essential reading for anyone interested in international relations, Europe, and contemporary issues.

The book includes a key chapter about ‘The Changing Face of European Security’ by Dr Rita Parker, Jean Monnet Research Fellow and Project Leader-Liberal Democracy in Action Project (LiDiA) at ANU Centre for European Studies. The chapter analyses Europe’s strategic security relationships, internal challenges of political extremism and racism, as well as risks and threats that do not recognise sovereign borders that are referred to as “problems without passports”. Her critical analysis examines ways in which existential crises within and beyond the Union affect its future security.

Published by Connor Court The European Union: New Leadership and New Agendas is edited by Stephen Alomes, Robert Mezyk and Sang-Chul Park. Just $39.95, copies of the book are available at https://www.connorcourtpublishing.com.au/The-European-Union-New-Leadership-and-New-Agendas--Edited-by-Stephen-Alomes-Robert-Mezyk-and-Sang-Chul-Park_p_428.html
