Invitation to a book launch (or two): international trade and investment

Alongside our colleagues at the Australian Centre for International Trade and Investment (ACITI), we are hosting a reception and book launch of 2 new publications on EU international trade and investment policy and agreements.

We will be joined by our keynote speaker, Hon Dan Tehan MP, current Shadow Minister for Immigration and former Australian Minister for Trade and Investment.

The two books to be launched are:

  • The European Union and International Investment Law Reform: Between Aspirations and Reality, by ANUCES visiting fellow Ivana Damjanovic, (Cambridge University Press, 2023).
  • The Evolving Architectures of International Economic Agreements, edited by Deputy Director of the ANU Centre for European Studies Dr. Katarzyna Kwapisz Williams, and our visiting fellow Ottavio Quirico (Springer, 2023).

Against the backdrop of the current pause in Australia-EU FTA negotiations, these publications are valuable resources which underscore the need for constructive dialogues and informed policymaking.

Please register for tickets at the link here.
