A young perspective on Europe

Tuesday 29 November 2016

Time: 8:40pm

Europe is racked by change and the youth will endure the full burden of this change. Yet young people have become increasingly sidelined in the debate around past and future challenged that Europe is facing. Four ANU students of European Studies take a young look at European identity, Europe's role in the world and Australia's connection to the region.

Highlights of Young Australian Voices on Europe presented by the ANU Centre for European Studies. 20 October 2016.

The panel discussion is part of the ANU Centre for European Studies’ three year partnership with ABC Radio National. Big Ideas from Europe focusses on the major social, cultural, scientific and political issues from contemporary Europe. The series features panel discussions, interviews and public lectures by eminent scholars and public figures. It is broadcast on Radio National and also available as a podcast, with additional reading material available on the Big Ideas website.

The ANUCES is an initiative involving six ANU Colleges (Arts and Social Sciences; Law; Business and Economics; Asia and the Pacific; Medicine, Biology and Environment; and Engineering and Computer Science) co-funded by the ANU and the European Union.
