Australian Student Mobility in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields
Increasingly, Australian university students are encouraged to consider studying overseas. Enabling this student mobility requires investment by government, universities and students themselves and to date there is limited information available on what return on investment is achieved. This research project aims to investigate the potential return on investment achievable from enhancing STEM student mobility.

Postcolonial Literature: Texts, Context & Teaching
Multicultural student populations in both the UK and Australia are growing, but how does the school curriculum in both countries effectively cater for the learning needs of all students? This research will use a postcolonial theoretical lens to focus on English curriculum practices in both countries. The aim is to better understand the methods used to select English novels for the curriculum, the effectiveness of these selected novels in terms of their capacity to incorporate the learning needs of all students, and the pedagogical teaching practices used by teachers to discuss these texts in the classroom.
